The Spectrum for Telecom Operators (Mobile Network Operators – MNOs) authorizes the use of specific radio frequency bands for deploying mobile communication networks in Somalia. This
spectrum allocation enables MNOs to deliver services such as voice, SMS, mobile internet, and emerging technologies like 4G, 5G, and beyond. Efficient spectrum management ensures high quality mobile connectivity and supports the growth of Somalia’s digital economy.
Eligibility
This authorization is available to licensed Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) intending to establish, expand, or upgrade mobile telecommunications services in Somalia.
